Art, and its relation to rules.

Art should break the rules. That's all I can really say. Art that's quiet and reserved will not be remembered. Sure, you can say that paintings like 'Whistler's Mother" are just that: quiet and reserved. But it was revolutionary because of the way Whistler treated it. He resented people calling it a portrait of his mother, and that made people make whispery noises behind his back. So art that breaks the rules is good art.

In a completely unrelated note, I'll be uploading stencils for public use soon.

Welcome, one and all.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Dissent. A truly splendid place where anything is possible. To the reclaiming of our freedom from the oppressors, to the simple poem shared in an alleyway. This is the beginning of something magical, something for all ages, races, and creeds. This is the birthblace of, maybe not new, but certainly different ideas.
